Holdin’ It Together contains layered cyanotype images of my family interposed with pictures taken of local woods. The leaned over table and blurry images signal the difficulty of attempting to preserve family history when one is unwelcome at the dinner table.

Still-life of Loss shows the parallel loss that I have experienced by the passing of my mother, and the brutal environmental devastation I have witnessed by the emerald ash borer (Agrilus planipennis) on ash trees (Fraxinus spp.) in Appalachian forests.
